The CHRYSO Group acquires ProMix Technologies
CHRYSO, part of the Materis Group and a worldwide leader in concrete admixtures, recently acquired the American firm ProMix Technologies. This operation strengthens the CHRYSO Group efforts in North America and widens its geographical coverage, in order to offer its innovative products to a larger part of the
American market. It also enables the French admixture producer to create a new growth platform in North America, with a high technical and commercial potential.
Based in Dallas (Texas, USA), ProMix Technologies was founded in 1998 and became a successful regional player in the admixture business. Its competitive advantage stems from meeting its customers’ expectations, through formulating admixtures and exclusive products for specific customer needs on its production site in Dallas, and providing its customers with tailor-made services.
The CHRYSO Group has been present in North America since 2001, with its subsidiaries CHRYSO Inc. in the United States and CHRYSO Canada. The combination of the 3 entities’ know-how and expertise will consolidate the position of CHRYSO on the North American continent. The new platform will rely on an experienced technical and sales team, covering the central, Southern and Eastern parts of the US, as well as a network of two plants.
